The view southwest on August 3, 2003. Mt. Redoubt and the Depot Glacier are front and center. Mt. Challenger is at far left; Mt. Shuksan is to Redoubt's right (behind Mad Eagle Peak).

Redoubt no doubt!

Great shot Paul! What a great place - I sure would like to visit the Chilliwacks. When you climb Redoubt, will you come up Depot Creek again, or use a different approach? Have you climbed the Mox Peaks yet?

Re: Redoubt no doubt!

I intend to climb Redoubt in a day from the car via the Depot Creek Trail unless I should decide to climb all the >400P peaks on the ridge leading north from Redoubt (of which there are three or four). In which case it will take two days. If only Redoubt, car-to-car it should take about 15 hours.

I have climbed both Mox peaks (last July 4th weekend).

The Chilliwacks are beautiful and worth a visit, even if you have to go through Canada to get there.
