The view SW from the summit on August 19, 1998. 9,018-ft Needle Point (31st highest in Oregon) is on the left. In the background at right is Pk 8949 (32nd-highest). On the far horizon at far right are the Elkhorn Mountains, whose high-point is 9,106-ft Rock Creek Butte (26th-highest).
