The yellow slopes of the Monte Perdido seen from Tella. The yellow is due to a local cactus called Echinospartum Horridum ("horrible broom", despite it is a completely disticnt plant from the broom), blooming at this moment of the year. This plant covers all the subalpine zone of this kind of area, and very uncomfortable to cross unless with deep hiking boots, gaiters or thick trousers.
