There are a bunch of mine...
| There are a bunch of mine ruins up toward the top of the Huerfano River Valley (August 7, 2004). My guess is that the two large cylinders in the background are furnaces that were used to generate steam that powered a tram system (wheels that are closer to the camera) which transported stuff from the mine shafts higher up the hillside. |
