Thin ice waterfalls on the...

Thin ice waterfalls on the headwall of Amilpulco Valley. This was taken on the first ridge after La Joya, a little off the trail to the Ayoloco Hut. We also spotted from a distance what appeared to be some bolted routes on this same cliff massif, but on the south-facing side, whereas this photo displays the west side. I hope to go back soon and get a closer look, perhaps try some high-altitude rock climbing. February 6, 2006 =-)
