This is a panorama of the...
This is a panorama of the region around Quartz Mountain taken from nearby King Mountain. Quartz is the dominant peak to the right of center, and the prominent gully is the route I have used to descend after two class 4 ascents. The temperature got to over 70 degrees this pleasant December day.
