This is the upper Crystal Creek drainage on Sept. 12, 2003. It provides a very reasonable way to access the Enchantment Plateau from Ingalls Creek. Little Annapurna is out of view to the left. McClellan Peak and the Nightmare Needles are out of view to the right. If going to Little Annapurna, there is a steep gully that leads up to the notch at left that may save time getting to that summit. Else, keep close to the creek (which disappears underground where the photo was taken). It is easiest to climb along the creek in the trees right of center.
