This is the way up the summit...

This is the way up the summit boulder of Tumwater Mountain. You basically climb up the wide crack to the right of the fallen timber then make an exposed move right into another crack that leads to the highest point. This exposed traverse is harder on the way back. Class 3+. It's about 30 vertical feet up from where the photo is taken to the top. For more info on Tumwater Mountain see the Main Page. May 29, 2004.
