This photo of Popo was taken...

This photo of Popo was taken at sunset from about 15,600 ft on Iztaccihuatl. I was lounging around in the hut when I heard a loud rumbling sound. I grabbed my camera and sprinted a couple hundred yards to a nearby high-point to get this shot (sprinting at 15.6K ft is not recommended ;-) (12/1998).

Nice shot! Beautiful colors!

My only question is what kind of camera and film did you use to take this picture? The colors are beautiful, not to mention that it's a great shot!

Yes it is!

Sometimes tremors in one volcano can trigger a response in a nearboring volcano. Beware. Fantastic shot though--has all the right hardware
