This photo was taken from the summit of Mount Alice. You can see the ridge you walk from Taylor Peak (left) to Powell Peak (center). That's as far as you can hike on the continental divide without technical equipment. McHenrys Notch and Peak are to the right. The Mummy Range is in the background. July 16, 2005.

Hey, thanks! I think I have a slight obsession with McHenry's Notch. I also still need to summit the peak...had bad weather one day. Hopefully next summer when I get back to the park.

Very nice indeed! I kept thinking that was some couloir off Chiefshead but then realized it was angled more north!
