This short section is...

This short section is required to climb the summit block. I wish I would have been more mindful when I took this picture but from where I was standing, you down climb about 10-12 feet to the base of that obvious crack. Climb the crack. This is very exposed (although the exposure is not detailed by the photo) class 4. The summit is easialy attained from the top of this crack.

Easier Route to Summit

Instead of climbing the crack, there exists an easier class 2/3 route to the summit if you head right past the crest of the ridge and onto the summit blocks. It would still require one to downclimb (from the vantage point of this picture), which is exposed, but with very good holds. Then heading right (as it appears looking at your picture) provides access across the crest. See my shot.
