This shot of Mount Oberlinlooking south and a bit west, taken from
Bishops Capshows that even though Oberlin is one of the lowest-in-elevation peaks in the Logan Pass area, it is a spectacular mountain! Oberlin dominates the lower half of the image, and is dead center;
Mount Cannon is at the far right;
Clements Mountain, from this perspective a long ridge, is in shadow and directly behind Oberlin; further back, on a straight line from Oberlin, is
Mount Brown;
Bearhat Mountain is to the left of Brown, poking up behind the summit of Clements; and
Edwards Mountain is at the far left of the photo. The Logan Pass Visitor Center would be just out of the picture on the lower left, and the same for
Reynolds Mountain, only center left. Photo by Vernon, September 1, 2004.
