Climbed via Campbell, which given the scree in the basin shared with West Dallas, I think up and over Campbell is the way to go, at least in summer. It's a steep route up to Campbell's ridge, but its on grass, the ridge is enjoyable with one class 3 step near the top. The connecting ridge is loose dinner plates in sections, but a bit of climbers trail helps and it didn't feel that loose. Probably about 10 miles and 5000 feet of elevation gain total.
Via Campbell Peak, storm rolling in, but the weather held and got only a little sprinkled.
This was neat. Decent down the south face couloir was nerve wracking until we got on the smooth rock to realize it was totally doable.
