Nicegreat image, I remember my climb and images of this peak. You can to see another image of this landscape in Tocllaraju
Elías, acuerdate de ponerla en su montaña. Con Attach/dettach busca Tocllaraju y luego le das a Attach como parent (así la foto es un child y saldrá siempre en la galería de fotos de Tocllaraju y no sólo en tu galería personal que verá mucha menos gente). La de Paron ya que no tiene página esa montaña la puedes poner en la Cordillera Blanca Range.

ThanksThanks to all of you who are voting for this picture. It is really nice to find out that so many people are liking it.
We climbed Urus East to acclimate for the climb of Tocllaraju, and this astonishing view of the mountain came to our eyes, greeting our desire to climb it latter on the trip.
We had great conditions, as you can see, which helped a lot for both the climb and the picture.

Beautiful areaMy friends and I tried this peak in June/July 2004. A few of us summitted Ishinca and a few Urus Este. None of us got up Toc and in fact one of our party nearly died in an avalanche. Luckily he was roped so was easy to find. Nice picture, thanks.

Re: Beautiful areaSorry for the delay, didn't spot your message until now!!
It was in the area of the 1st camp. Leave Ishinca base camp, follow the steep path to the snow line, turn right and people camp in this area. He was 'pactising' on the slope above the camp and brought the snow down on himself and his campsite. He was right as rain soon after, but one of his axes is still there!!
