Great day for this hike!
Did the easy hike up Grays, then rode the saddle over to Torreys, making my 7th official 14er (also did Mt Cameron between Democrat and Lincoln but it's like 20 ft short of being "official"). Anyway, it was a great little hike from the saddle! Of course it was almost standing room only at the top, but my day was made by 2 guys who summitted without shirts or packs and very little supplies. Reminded me of Bill and Ted from "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure." Also, it was strange that I got 4 bars for cell service but couldn't complete a call. Oh well, except that I forgot to tell the wife which peaks I was climbing today. OOOPS! Anyway, I hiked back down to a little bit of cloud cover but no precipitation until I hit the car. AWESOME DAY!
Crowds? Try it on a snowy, sleety, socked in day like I did. Bye-bye crowds.
Fun hike but wish we left earlier and done another route like Kelso Ridge. There was alot of people.
Traversed from Grays my first time up. Second ascent by Kelso Ridge was far more enjoyable.
Fun day climb, got caught in nasty thunderstorm around 13,500 ft.
Fun snow climb. Get an early start. Since its East facing snow was starting to get kind of soft at 9 in the morning. Beautiful weather on top. Ascended the Grays peak trail to hit Grays on the way down.
We came up the Kelso ridge and summitted just before the mass of hikers made it over from Grays. Wonderful day and a really fun route.
Lots of nanny and baby goats on Grays posing for the many hikers that day. Great weather, easy hike.
I summited Torreys after tagging Grays on a nice spring morning, Kelso ridge was not in shape yet to give it a try. Had great views of Evans-Bierstadt, Mosquito range and Holy Cross.
Great one to start out on. Uber-busy over the summer. You'll see another climber every 2 minutes if you hike on a weekend in July or August.
Climbed from Grays, saw a baby mountain goat coming down Torreys. Great hike to do mid-week.
Not much solitude, but still a fun walk up.
Very crowded but still fun.
An easy day, tons of people. Part of a 10 day 18 14,000 ft. summit solo climbing trip.

Climbed Torreys via Grays peak, a great intro to Colorado peaks and the 14ers.
Grays and Torreys are among my favorites. Beautiful day and hike.
All the way from Bakersville and back due to deep snow on the road.
Not quite winter climb
