Sounds great already...

I look forward to the rest of it (Yosemite, Boundary, Zion, etc.).

Great Stuff

Keep it coming. I guess you learned to do more homework on routes and not to stint on the water supply.

Re: Great Stuff

Indeed I did, many great lessons were learned on this trip, both about planning and climbing. Glad you enjoyed, the rest is up!

Great Fun!

It reminds me of some of the trips in my "youth", "many" years ago. Total enthusiasm and love for the mountains, loads of mistakes and lessons learned, but above all great fun with good friends.

Unfit Throngs...

At least those unfit throngs of people are choosing to hike and go to the National Parks for their vacation instead of Disney Land. Things are looking up! Wonderful report guys! Kudos!

AWESOME!

Looks like a phenominal trip. I went on a couple of cross-country road trips during my summers in college and they were the greatest adventures I think I've ever gone on.

mountain love

I haven't visited the great Southwest in almost a year. Now I am going to dream about them. I remember my first trip in Zion, my first climb of Whitney, my first solo in Joshua Tree, my introduction to desert climbing via Boundary Peak-all memories to be cherished. I grew up in Indiana so my introduction to the mountains came slowly but it will never fade.
