Interesting...I've got almost the exact same shot, except it looks like there was less snow when you were there. Good one!

Re: Interesting...Just saw your comment. When we were there (Jan 2001), there was basically no snow anywhere. We had to cross a single snow field (100yards?) on the traverse to white rocks, but that was about it. See my photo of C2 (a bit dark) to see what it was like.

snowGood shot of C2. There definitely was more snow there when I was up - you can especially tell from our shots of Aconcagua and Ameghino from below. Wish there'd been snow in the f@*&ing Canaleta....
