Eldorado Canyon Trailhead provides access to the Eldorado Canyon Trail in Eldorado Canyon State Park, Colorado.

Driving Directions

From Boulder, take Hwy 93 south to Hwy 170. From Denver, one can take Hwy 93 north to Hwy 170. Take Hwy 170 east to the town of Eldorado Springs. Continue through Eldorado Springs to the entrance of Eldorado Canyon State Park. Pay your fee, then continue on Hwy 170 until you see the sign leading you to the park office and visitor center off to the left. Take that left branch down to the visitor center and the large parking area. This is the farthest point into the canyon that visitors are allowed to travel by vehicle.

The trailhead is clearly marked on the north side of the parking area, east of the visitor center.

Amenities

Camping is not allowed at the trailhead, nor is drinking water available. There are pit toilets.
