LLP to Morgan
Nice long traverse, stayed far left on ascent of LLP so I got tons of Class 3 for the day. Stayed true to ridge line and found that it is, in fact, Class 4 intermittently. Even pulled a huge boulder over onto my leg and was stuck for a bit. Climbed Morgan summit block from the south - that sure felt Class 5 to me! Descended straight down to Hidden Lakes - what a nightmare! 4th and 5th Class down climbing solo was a real emotional drain. No mosquitos though!
I climbed this a while back (c. 2000) after having already done Little Lakes Peak. The ridge looks really long and exposed from that vantage but is really pretty moderate. We didn't find anything I'd call class 4. A nice adventure. Morgan is such a talus pile. I can't imagine climbing it any other way.
