Climber on the way up Trico Peak
is a mountain summit in western Colorado. It climbs to 13,321 feet (4,060 meters) above sea level.
It is named Trico since it is located at the place where three Colorado counties meet: San Miguel, Ouray, and San Juan County.
Peak is very easily accessible from the Red Mountain Pass, which stays open year round. It is a great 13er to summit in the winter. This area is also very popular backcountry ski destination.
