Trinity Divide

Clouds swirl around the summit of Mount Shasta while the Upper Cliff, Cliff and Lower Cliff Lakes are still and quiet. The canyon of the South Fork of the Sacramento River leads east, toward Mount Shasta City, which is visible at the base of the great volcano. "Grey Rock Dome" and "Harry Watkins", high peaks of the Castle Crags Wilderness, are in the upper right. June2012.
