At nightDecided I needed to stretch the legs at 1 AM. This is a good way to get in some hiking if you are trying to avoid the sun. The view of Tucson reminded me a great deal of the view of Denver from Green Mtn.

Already dressed for the danceAfter hiking Safford Peak earlier in the day, we stayed in gear and drove over to hike Tumamoc, which we mispronounced often.

First timeI've been in Tucson for 10 years and had never been to the top of this hill. Nice urban jaunt. Great views.

Standard paved route from hospitalThis was a nice way to walk off some Thanksgiving turkey with the family! We saw an injured Coyote, which was a sad sight, but enjoyed the walk and the brisk, sunny weather.

Better Late ...Tumamoc finally showed up on a list, which motivate me to hike it with my daughter Molly. Odd I never hiked it as a kid, since my dad worked at the Desert Lab.
