Desert Playground  Sucess!

I've hiked up Grouse Mountain, Buttermilk Hill, Tungsten Point and some unnamed hills. I also ran the Bishop 50K through this area several times.

Spare time  Sucess!

Hiked the trail near Millpond to the summit marker - I don't really know or care if it was the true highpoint. Great place to wander with a little spare time near Bishop!

Many Piles  Sucess!

So many piles, so close to home! Enjoyed a boot glissade down a snowy chute too.

Tungsten Hills' High Point and Tungsten Point  Sucess!

I love the hills. They make me want to wave my arms in the air and sing like Julie Andrews in "The Sound of Music." This winter and spring Jon and I have ran around all over them, going to high points and peering down mine shafts.
