Turkey Vulture waits for me to drop

A Turkey Vulture (Cathartes aura) patiently circles the skies near the Robledo Range by Radium Springs, New Mexico. This guy and two of his buddies were licking their chops waiting for me to drop from the desert heat. Photo taken 6/2/07.
