Binn Chorr, Binn Bhan
400m prominence hills on Summitpost? Well I may as well sign it then. Not climbed on the same day. Some of my earliest proper hikes and still memorable.
Route Climbed: Scrambled up to Knockapasheen Ridge Date Climbed: August 5, 2005
Not much time this day, but I headed straight up for Binn Bhan (highest of the Bens at 729m). Windy and cloudy. Views were spectacular for the few minutes I had them.
Route Climbed: Glencloghan Horseshoe Date Climbed: 16th April 2005
We did the Glencloghan horseshoe from Derryclare around. One of the better days I've had in Connemara. No rain whatsoever and very little wind. On a clear day, this is one of the finest horseshoe walks in Ireland.
