One must first surmount the Dome de Gouter before continuing higher along the ridge line to the summit of Mont Blanc.

The climbers have still ascent Dôme du Goûter and are closed to Rochers Foudroyés (the place where Vallot hut is built). After that, they have to climb The Bosses you can see on the picture. Anyway that's not very important...

Very nice picture that shows us that mountains are more durable than we are...

You're right! I stand corrected.

The two German climbers in the foreground have already surmounted the Dome du Gouter and are resting before making the final ascent to the top of Europe.
