Typical Stream Scene Near AT in 1966

Stream near the Appalachian Trail in Maryland in 1966 I was taking a boring picture of fellow hikers near this stream along AT. We went as a council Girl Scout group every month from September through November and March through June all through high school; great way to build skills!

The AT

We'd head up to Bear Mt in CT and hike the AT north for a few days then hitchhike back to town or head further north depending on how much money we had left. Great times!

I'd love to go back to some of these places again but I'm sure they're not as nice today but they were great times back then, you're right!
