Re: Yea, Uberbabs!You bet! No more Blanche ("I have always depended on the kindness of strangers") DuBois for me! No more waiting for someone else to lead! Within limits, that is. I still have alot to work on. But my constant companion (ksolem) thinks that I'll be a laybacking fiend once I am mentally prepared for that type of climbing. I prefer steep face climbing.

Re: Yea, Uberbabs!I agree -- steep face climbing rocks, and there's not much better than nice, strenuous lieback (provided you can set pro) -- but I've been working on my weaker points lately. (Offwidth and fist-sized cracks.) I gotta work on geting up that stuff too.
