Uinta Range

The day before Thanksgiving I had a little time after work to head over to the Uintas to see what the conditions where and to see this area one more time before winter really sets in. Only in the higher elevations is there any really measurable amount of snow, and mostly on north facing slopes. The south side of Bald Mtn was relatively free and clear so I decided to take a hike. I worked my way around the east side of the peak to get a view of Hayden Peak and Mt.Agassiz. A slight dusting of snow graces the range as seen from the headwaters of the Duchesne River.
