Agreed. That green does look really good. I miss it already and we are just now approaching winter. Living in Missoula where it can be cloudy for weeks would drive me crazy! And your green season isn't nearly as long as ours.
Nice page that brings back good memories. That hike turned out to be just what we needed. That area in there is really one of the best places to be in the Elk Range, especially if your looking for wildflowers. Hence the following John Fielder photo.
Your pics are good too. I'm not sure I can bring anything to your page by submitting my own shots.
I agree completely, and thanks for sharing that. I see too many comments on route pages complaining that descriptions don't have enough detail. What do people want, a guide every step of the way? Maybe they do. Again, thanks for giving us the necessary info but leaving the real fun to us.
Great looking page. It does load slowly (I've got DSL), so some folks with slower speeds might miss or pass this page up. I've got big pages too that load slowly. It's a balancing act with those big photos, especially when they look as good as yours and Kane's do! Nice to see this different perspective of the Elks. Thanks for adding this beautiful mountain and area.
