Description

"Unconquerable" is slightly overhanging and is a fun 5.8. It can be lead or toproped. The upper part of the crack takes medium/large gear (offwidth); the lower part takes medium gear. The lower section can be jammed with one foot on the face, one foot in the crack. Just under the corner (alcove) you can jam your whole body into the crack for a rest. The upper part can be stemmed or liebacked. In Cottrell's book he says that if you eliminate the use of the corner crack for your hands it is 5.11.
He also says that if you offwidth the upper portion with your right side in it is 5.10. Good workout!

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
