Under the W face of Kocna

This is the scene on the rarely visited Povšnarjeva planina (meadow), just under the W face of Kočna. In addition to rare hikers, here climbers are coming to start the ascent by the long NW ridge of Kočna, or to do some shorter climbs in the walls of that ridge. I guess nowadays you don't so often see this type of drying hay. We call these heaps kopa (in German it's schober). This one is also a bit special, because it's lifted. Not a bad idea, because so hay can be dried also from below. September 13th, 2017.
