Hi Paulo - me again! Can I just say I second that?! On the other page, I just said nothing left on my Alps wish-list - but Arctic Norway, in the depths of winter and a night out under the northern lights has to be a next objective - maybe for winter 2015.
This is a fantastic photo - can just barely imagine how grand it must have been to be there.

Hello buddy!

Well, I don't know if I'll be able to go to Europe in 2015, but if I can, we must keep in touch because I already have a cool project about it including five countries. Cold weather conditions and this impressive view!

Fight the good fight Parofes. I hope you are able to get here to see the Northern Lights. But don't plan for a weekend trip, the weather and auroroa are not always cooperative. Give yourself a couple weeks, and if your grand tour of 2015 comes together and it includes Tromsø, let me know, we'd be honored to help you with your 'bucket list'.

Thanks Mark. It is grand. I've lived here for 10 years and still stop whatever I'm doing and run outside when the Northern Lights are active...I've never tired of it. And for you sir, in England, you're just two two hour flights away....

Well if the project enters a GO state, it won't include Tromso, something twice as high and a little bit far away from it...
But I'll talk to you anyway in the future so we can take some shots together.

This may be the best barn shot I've ever seen. Good snow lighting, great sky, and fantastic subject!

Thanks Josh. I did a little light painting with my headlamp on the barn to get it to show up better. It was a long night out to get this shot.

Yes it was. About -10C, not so extreme, but when you're out standing still behind the lens...
