Upper Bells Canyon ice pond.

This photo shows a temporary accumulation of water that collects in upper Bells Canyon every late spring/early summer. Photo was taken from the summit of Lone Peak, looking down into the upper portion of the canyon. I've noticed in the past that this pond generally will be dried up by mid-July. Wish this was there year round for a decent water supply higher than the upper Bells Reservoir. Cool looking blue water there. Lone Peak ascent #4 for 2014. May 29, 2014.
