Upper Willis Gulch from the south slopes of Rinker Peak. You can see the upper Willis Lake in this photo. Also, the newly named Irvin Peak (13,531-ft) anchors the very south end of this drainage.

Ryan, its strange, I remember hiking up those slopes and wondering what the hell this mountain was. It was prominent from this drainage and I didn't know its name and that puzzeled me. When I got home I looked it up and it wasn't even named and that puzzled me even more. A few months later it was named.

Leave it to you guys to keep SP up to speed. It's a nice looking mountain, better than I had hoped (the San Juan peak was higher but frankly, not as nice looking). Maybe it's not so bad after all. :D Pretty area, too. Thanks for posting.
