Upper Yellowstone Falls

The trail from Graveyard Fields Overlook ends after about a mile, and then some easy scrambling along rock ledges and ramps gets you to the base of the falls. The views are better from the left side as you face the falls (this view is from the left side), but this requires crossing the stream. From either side, it is possible to use dry rocks to scramble to the top of the falls. Blue Ridge Parkway, NC-- April 2010
