Urus consists of the three mountains Urus Oeste, Urus Central and Urus Este. This day we were heading for Urus Este, by far the most popular one.
Later I would be back with the intention of climbing Central, without knowing the normal route, or even how difficult it would be.
Central has a ridge running roughly east to west. What appears to be the summit in this view is the easternmost part of the summit ridge. Later I learned that the true summit is on the western side of this ridge on Central, and the summit ridge is definitely not easy. The true summit is not visible; even if it were not hidden by clouds, it would be a bit further to the left of this photo.
