YJ

Ahhh ... good old YJ !!! I refer to it as descent helper since it helps my old knees on yet another descent, and it helps to prevent rigor mortis from setting in on the drive home. If you mix it with lime juice and snow, it makes a pretty good subsitute for a frozen margarita. Happy Trails !!!
Peace, Jim

With lust in my heart...

I'm eying your bottle of Yukon Jack! I always keep one in my backpack. If you're ever up north, try it with a real Yukon toe in it. See the link. http://www.summitpost.org/view_object.php?object_id=279075&confirm_post=7

Re: With lust in my heart...

Rumor has it that it used to belong to a French Canadian gold prospector. After a bout with frostbite, he no longer had a use for it and donated it to the Downtown Hotel to be used in the infamous Sourtoe Cocktail. His was not the original toe. Several have been swallowed accidentally, and some were lost or simply decomposed over time. And you're right, it is WAY worse than the tequilla worm. I had the thing between my teeth. Thank goodness it was marinated in Yukon Jack!

This website has everything you want to know (or maybe don't want to know) about the Sourtoe.

Yukon Jack

Try Yukon and grapefruit juice with a stemmed cherry; I call it a "Snowshoe"!!
