such a shame! I don't know! It was after the PCT trail hike driving east to Arizona though...(from around San Diego).

No shame! Please be proud that you visited
this dune.

It looks exactly like a dune seen in the
Coral Pink Sand Dunes area of southern Utah,
where ATVs often are allowed to run amuck.

Then again, you said AZ? Are you sure we
are not in Petrified Forest NP along I-40?

Thanks for the welcome! It's time to find some new Sierra partners...
Yeah, those are ATV's...they almost ran me over. There was also unfortunately a lot of trash on the dunes too but I did litter duty that day. Border patrol was also rolling around there.
