It was 35lbs when I weighed it. It felt so heavy in the beginning, it rubbed the skin from my shoulders and I had bruises on my hip bones :( . However, as the days went on it got lighter because of all the food I ate :)
did you make all 100 miles?
Yes, I did! The first 3-4 days were the worst in terms of mental fatigue. However, at the end of the trail what I really wanted was to keep on going!
Thanks for the comment :)
Great, I'm impressed, I can imagine what that demanded of you.
Your "15 minutes" of fame !
Haha thank you! I really felt accomplished intrinsically at the end though, and that is really what matters to me :)
Go Wiktoria, go. But remember to be a leader in your journey. If you’re not the lead dog in a dogsled team, the scenery never changes!!!!!
Thank you so much. Your photos are spectacular, and seeing them makes me want to explore the world and share that adventure even more.
Respect!! That must be quite some trail, one that not everybody would decide to try and tackle!
It'll be interesting to follow your undertakings in the years to come - I can sense you will be doing a lot of really outstanding adventures, Wiktoria!
All the best,
Thank you, it was much more strenuous not only physically but mentally than I imagined. I hope I will be lucky enough to keep on having these amazing opportunities to explore the world and wilderness and have these fantastic adventures.
Thank you so much and cheers,
