A Little About Me

I owe my going into the mountains to a great man - my Dad. He gave me my enduring appreciation for the mountains. I owe my coming out of the mountains to Sean Fort. I watched him do things there that I will never be able to do, like bear bag our food from a limb I can't throw a rope over, or pitch a tent in a roaring wind with numb hands. In retrospect, that summer on the PCT with Sean taught me something very important. It is too late for me to go back and appreciate Sean like my arrogance would not allow me to back then, but I shall ever be reminded not to do so with anyone again.
