Point 12,160'+ is a...

Point 12,160'+ is a spectacular, castellated maze of rock above Pine Lake along the Pine Creek Pass Trail. The trail passes directly beneath it's southeast face. If you watch the south (left) skyline as you hike by, you can see a strange formation that looks like a four-fingered hand extended skyward.

Fun Climb 10/05/2008

This is a fun cl. 2/3 climb from the 1st Pine Lake. A few hundred yards from the outlet start up the main center chute. Don't enter the visible chute that is blocked by a chockstone, cross to climbers left on some cl. 3 ledges you will then enter into a chute that will take you all the way to the top.
