Hello I am looking for a mountaineering partner to do some classic peaks in the alps and greater ranges. Get in touch if you need a climbing partner for the summer of 2009, I will probably go to the Alps but i am open to other plans. My mountaineering experience is (Alpine D-TD Scottish Grade 3 Rock S-VS) I have climbed in the alps / Himalaya sections of very steep snow and ice at angles over 50 degrees with steep steps. Rock sections up to VD. Confident mountaineering skills but minimal rock and ice leading experience. Previous Alpine climbing and high altitude experience I am an experienced mountaineer who can be self-sufficient. And Im keen to improve and try new things.
