A Little About Me
I am a full-time mountain guide and instructor, working mainly in the Drakensberg mountain range of South Africa. I do take on guiding and instructing work all over South Africa and the rest of Africa, such as Mt Kenya and Spitzkoppe in Namibia. Some jobs take me to the Alps, Jordan and Canada. Besides guiding and instructing I love recreational climbing with friends on weekends, doing both trad and sport climbing. Have been at it since 1986. I also have a great interest in mountain rescue and convene the local rescue team in the Drakenberg mountains.
