A Little About Me
It is with much sadness to report that SP member Rialtosol (Ed Miller) died in a fall off Mount Formidable in the North Cascades on August 10, 2006. The exact nature of the accident is not known, but it appears a loose boulder may have caused him to lose his balance, which resulted in the fall. Ed was a major contributor to nwhikers.net and his photography skills were well known among the northwest climbing community.
As a SummitPost member, Ed contributed some of his striking photography, seen below. His profile page will remain permanently on SP in honor of his memory. The thoughts and prayers of the SP community are extended to Ed's family.
