A Little About Me
My given name is John Shackford. My first hike was as a fetus in the first trimester, to the summit of Mount Washington, New Hampshire, in the summer of 1946. Frankly, it's been up and down ever since. Colorado is now my chosen home, and a good hike in this spectacular State is a pleasure unparalleled. The photo is of Me and my Shadow. The dog is Kleo (shiba ken in Japanese).
