And to think ...

the last time my wife and I visited, there
was NO mention of this at the Ranger Station.

We saw Bighorn sheep, so that satisfied for
the time being ... nice picture !!

The trail seems to have been publicized in the last couple of years, as I had not heard of it during visits just a few years ago. Anyway, my family and I went there just a few days ago. It's definitely a cool spot.

Thanks! When you're in Valley of Fire State Park (Nevada), you'll take the park road a little over 4 miles past the visitor center. It'll be parking area #3, which is the third parking lot after the intersection with the Fire Canyon road, and more like sixth parking lot or so after the visitor center.

Fire Wave used to be a secret spot, but now you can look online and find lots of maps pointing you right to it.
