Approach
Start point : Vallorcine
Vallorcine can be reached by car or by train from Chamonix and from Martigny.
Park at Le Buet (entrance of Vallorcine on Chamonix side)
Route Description
From Le Buet, cross the hamlet Poya and take the direction of the Cascade de Bérard (waterfall).
At the footbridge of Fontaine-Froide take right to the chalets Sur le Rocher (1534 m). Just before, turn left into the Vallon de Tré les Eaux.
Higher a cliff blocks the progression : a crack in the rocks fitted with chains helps to climb this wall.
Follow the high valley in sight of the Mont Buet with his little Glacier of Tré les Eaux. The steep path climbs on the right to the Col des Corbeaux and the Lac Vert and reaches here the route coming from Loriaz and the Col de la Terrasse (see under that route description)
