View of Pico Veleta from the east (from the summit of Mulhacén). Veleta is the prominent peak on the main ridge of Sierra Nevada range. Cliffs are shapening the mountain to the south (left), north (right and in shadow) and to the east (front). Just in front of the Veleta peak, and slightly to the right, there is another three-thousander mountain of Sierra Nevada: Cerro de los Machos. Nov. 2007
