in 2001, I climbed Velika baba for the first time. the weather was unpleasant, but as ferrata started I was grateful for bad visibility.It was a kind of ladder to heaven, you could see the beginning, but not the end, and that was my first ferrata after Storzic, and I was afraid.few years ago, a huge rock fell off, man died, and that always spooks me.

09.09.2006: nice round trip from the austrian side (vellacher kotschna 968m) via the via ferrata to the vellacher turm 2.110m.
then down on the other side of vellacher turm and up to ledinski vrh 2.108m. from there we hiked velika baba 2.127m, mala baba 2.018m and down to vellacher kotschna again.
